On this site I offer a choice with all of my herbal products, that is with or without Cannabidiol or CBD. The reason I do this is simple, CBD helped me so much, with chronic pain and other conditions, that I hope it will for those of you who need help too.
The following paragraph is information from an organization called Project CBD. They are a non-profit, educational service. You can find much more information about CBD on their website www.projectcbd.org
*CBD is a non-psychotropic cannabinoid with enormous therapeutic potential. Cannabinoids are chemicals that trigger the cannabinoid (and other) receptors in the brain and body. In addition to phyto-cannabinoids produced by the plant, there are endogenous cannabinoids that occur naturally in the body, as well as synthetic cannabinoids created by pharmaceutical researchers. CBD has strong anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasm, anti-convulsant, anti-psychotic, anti-tumeral, and neuro-protective properties. CBD directly activates serotonin receptors, causing an anti-depressant effect, as well. Scientific and clinical studies have shown that CBD could be therapeutic for many conditions, including chronic pain, cancer, anxiety, diabetes, epilepsy, rheumatoid arthritis, PTSD, sleep disorders, alcoholism, cardiovascular disease, antibiotic-resistant infections, and neurological ailments. Academic research centers in the United States and elsewhere are currently studying the effects of CBD on these and other health problems.*
I have used CBD for my own chronic pain for a while now. During that time I have been able to stop all prescription pain medication. I've learned a lot about CBD along the way. There are so many ways to use CBD. I started with capsules, which helped me, but not enough for my level of pain. I tried lotion on every spot that hurt, which helped me, but not enough for my level of pain. Along the way I tried a few edibles, with the same result. I went on to try vaping, which helped more, but after the negative reports of vaping, I decided to stop that. Continuing to suffer with all-over pain, my friends and “Gurus”, a father and son team, Keith and Kyle, owners of Nibbana Life suggested a "full-spectrum" sublinguil oil, with a higher potentcy and a mint flavor! That change noticeably eased my symptoms, plus noticeably lowered my blood pressure and helps calm the stress of life. Also unlike most pharmaceuticals, it leaves me conscious enough to enjoy my life! I also use my own "WEEDS" products with added CBD throughout the day. Sipping my medicinal herbal teas with CBD really helps me. I also often use my herbal baths with CBD and soak for as long as I can. The longer I stay in the bath, the more of the R.S. CBD Oil soaks through my skin, relieving deep aches and pain and the natural ingredients and herbs instill the calm back to my mind.
I have found that this method seems to help the most in keeping a level amount of CBD in my body throughout the day, which best keeps my negative symptoms at bay. I am continuously learning and studying herbs, including Hemp. I listen to my customers, they tell me about their symptoms and how they interfere with their lives. Everyone has different needs and different lives. Therefore, you will find that my line of hand blended herbal teas, culinary herbs and herbal baths, are offered with or without CBD. All of my CBD blended products have measured dosages of CBD, because they are meant to add to your CBD plan for your individual needs. Also note that although CBD will not give you a "high", but it does still have up to .03% THC and will register positive in a urinalysis or blood exam. So for those of you with jobs that require being tested, I suggest you try my products without CBD. The herbs that I have blended in all of my products have been researched and studied to have strong medicinal benefits that do work. And I am always working on more herbal product ideas. So keep an eye out for their introduction here! Remember, Playing In The Dirt and our "WEEDS" product line are here to help. If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please contact us.
